Norrsken Mind is inviting proposals to design a pan-European patient registry for psychedelic therapies to support systematic, harmonised collection of real-world data across countries. The project will focus on a registry blueprint, data framework, and practical implementation plan, rather than development of the technical platform. Applicants should submit a one-page overview and CVs by 11 November 2026.
Early access programmes and new regulatory pathways for psychedelic therapies are emerging across Europe. This creates a growing opportunity to learn from patients treated outside traditional clinical trials. Yet data generated through these initiatives risk being fragmented, collected inconsistently, or not structured in a way that allows it to be combined across countries. A shared approach to real-world data collection could address this gap and create a stronger evidence base to inform clinicians, researchers, regulators, HTA bodies, and payers.
The project will include developing a registry blueprint and data framework, defining the registry’s objectives, core data set, outcome measures, follow-up, governance, data access and ownership, interoperability, and relevant legal and regulatory considerations. The registry should accommodate different psychedelic substances, treatment models, and clinical indications, and capture relevant aspects of treatment delivery alongside patient outcomes and safety. The work is expected to include examination of existing registry infrastructure and consultation with relevant stakeholders and patient groups.
The design should also account for practical implementation across different countries and healthcare systems, and support the generation of evidence relevant to research, safety, HTA, and reimbursement. The work should result in a practical implementation plan, but will not include development of the technical platform itself.
At this stage, we are inviting one-page overviews outlining how you would approach the project, your relevant experience, proposed team, and any advisors or external experts you would expect to involve, as well as an indicative timeline and budget for the design and planning phase. Key assumptions, dependencies and risks should be addressed.
Selected applicants will subsequently be invited to submit a more detailed proposal. CVs should be included separately and will not count toward the one-page limit.
Strong experience in patient registries and/or real-world evidence generation is essential. Familiarity with the psychedelic field is welcome but not required.
Please submit your one-page overview info@norrskenmind.org by 11 November, 2026. Selected applicants will be expected to submit a full proposal by 3 January, 2027.
